🏢 Chambers of Industry and Commerce (IHK)
The 79 IHKs in Germany feature international departments which can support with planning international activities. They are also proficient on import, tariff and certification topics. Most services are included in the membership fee German companies pay to them. If you do not know which IHK would be responsible for you, please refer to the IHK finder available here.

Furthermore, there are two IHKs offering specialized services on Vietnam:

🎯 Export Initiatives by the German Government
There are a couple of these programs. They are offering free-of-cost market studies as well as supported trade fair arrangements, delegation trips and symposiums. Here is a selection:

🔑 Export Support by the German States
There are many initiatives by the 16 German states. Information on relevant programs can be obtained from the IHKs (see above). Below, you will find some additional info on some of these relevant for Vietnam:

• Bavaria: The program "Go International" reimburses up to 50% of foreign market entry projects, further info here. Furthermore, Bavaria also has an official representation in Vietnam, further info here.

• Brandenburg: Program "Markterschließung durch KMU (GRW-Markt - International)" by the Investment Bank Brandenburg (ILB). Reimbursement of up to 80% of foreign market entry projects, further info here. Consulting can be obtained from the IHKs in Brandenburg. For contacts see "IHK Finder" above.

⚙️ Development Aid Projects for Enterprises (speak to: EZ-Scout)

Companies looking planning projects in the realm of "international cooperation" may consider utilizing support from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, for example through the program "developpp". Information on this kind of governmental support can be gathered from the "EZ-Scouts" stationed at many Chambers of Commerce and Industry (IHKs) in Germany.
